As an ARC intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced researchers and scientists in various fields of agriculture, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to meaningful projects that address key challenges in the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting agricultural research experiments and trials under the guidance of senior researchers.
  • Collect and analyze data related to crop production, livestock management, pest control, soil science, and other areas of agricultural research.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research methodologies and protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining research facilities, equipment, and experimental plots.
  • Participate in fieldwork, including sample collection, data recording, and experimental observations.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and scientific publications based on research findings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the ARC and external partners to achieve research objectives.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in agricultural science and technology through literature reviews and attending seminars/workshops.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in agriculture, agronomy, plant science, animal science, soil science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in agricultural research, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and data analysis software.
  • Prior experience in agricultural research or related field is desirable but not required.
