Core Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain/Logistics Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of supply chain management and logistics within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Assist with inventory management tasks, including tracking and analysis of inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment processes.
- Support the planning and execution of transportation logistics, including coordinating shipments, optimizing routes, and managing carrier relationships.
- Contribute to the optimization of warehouse operations by assisting with layout design, process improvement initiatives, and implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Participate in data analysis and reporting activities to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and operational efficiencies.
- Assist in the implementation and utilization of supply chain management software systems, such as ERP or WMS platforms.
- Provide general administrative support to the supply chain and logistics team, including documentation, record-keeping, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Prior internship or work experience in supply chain, logistics, or related fields is a plus, but not required.
