NBA Africa is seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join our Graduate Internship Program. As a graduate intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and invaluable insights into the operations of one of the world's most renowned sports organizations. This program is designed to provide exposure to various facets of the sports industry, including marketing, event management, operations, analytics, and more.
- Collaborate with different departments within NBA Africa to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of basketball events, tournaments, and community outreach programs.
- Conduct research and analysis to provide insights into market trends, fan engagement strategies, and business development opportunities.
- Support the digital marketing team in content creation, social media management, and digital campaign execution.
- Assist in the development and implementation of youth basketball programs and initiatives aimed at promoting the growth of the sport across Africa.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, scheduling, and document management.
- Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Passion for basketball and a keen interest in the sports industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Hands-on experience working with a globally recognized sports organization.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the industry.
