Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design comprehensive learnership programs aligned with the strategic objectives of Old Mutual.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the recruitment process for learners, ensuring diversity and inclusivity. Coordinate selection assessments and interviews to identify candidates with the potential to excel in the program.
  • Training Delivery: Coordinate the delivery of training modules, workshops, and mentorship sessions to learners. Ensure that the curriculum is relevant, engaging, and meets the needs of participants.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Implement systems to monitor the progress and performance of learners throughout the program. Conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training interventions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations. Collaborate with partners to enhance the impact and reach of the learnership program.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing learnership programs. Prepare regular reports and updates for management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in program coordination, preferably in the context of skills development or education.
  • Familiarity with the South African National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and the requirements for learnership accreditation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management abilities, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for youth development and a commitment to promoting inclusive economic growth.
