Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to support sugarcane farming operations, including planting, harvesting, and crop management practices.
  • Assist in conducting research and collecting data on agricultural best practices, market trends, and industry regulations.
  • Participate in advocacy campaigns and community outreach activities aimed at promoting the interests of sugarcane growers and fostering sustainable development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and environmental sustainability within the sugarcane industry.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including farmers, industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations, to build networks and promote collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program in agriculture, agronomy, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Genuine interest in agriculture, sustainability, and rural development issues.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work in rural areas as needed.
