Responsibilities

Assist in conducting research and analysis on regulatory policies and industry trends.
Support regulatory compliance monitoring activities, including data collection and analysis.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in inspections and audits of diamond and precious metals establishments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Assist in responding to inquiries and providing support to stakeholders regarding regulatory matters.
Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing regulatory effectiveness and efficiency.
Stay updated on relevant legislation, industry standards, and best practices in the diamond and precious metals sector.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Law, Business Administration, Economics, Mining Engineering, Environmental Science, etc.).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated interest in regulatory affairs, mining industry, or related fields.
Knowledge of the diamond and precious metals industry (preferred but not required).
