Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting research and analysis on regulatory policies and industry trends.
  • Support regulatory compliance monitoring activities, including data collection and analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in inspections and audits of diamond and precious metals establishments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in responding to inquiries and providing support to stakeholders regarding regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing regulatory effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation, industry standards, and best practices in the diamond and precious metals sector.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Law, Business Administration, Economics, Mining Engineering, Environmental Science, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in regulatory affairs, mining industry, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of the diamond and precious metals industry (preferred but not required).
