SAPS is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its SASSETA Internship Program. This program offers a unique opportunity for interns to gain practical experience and valuable skills in various aspects of law enforcement and policing. - Assist with various tasks and projects related to law enforcement and policing.
- Participate in operational activities under the guidance of experienced officers.
- Conduct research, compile reports, and analyze data to support departmental initiatives.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to develop technical and professional skills.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational objectives.
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree or diploma program (e.g., criminology, law enforcement, forensic science, etc.).
- Strong academic background with a passion for law enforcement and public safety.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Candidates with additional certifications or relevant experience will be preferred.
